Climate Change - How can be stop the disaster?

Global Climate Change is one of the intense discussion worldwide. It is obvoius now that the earth is getting more warmer which is noticeable over the past two decades.Weather changes all the times,no doubt about it but the average pattern of the weather which we call as climate is changing remarkably over few decades.
Carbon dioxide is the major culprit. The single human activity that is most likely to have large impact on the climate is "burning of fossil fuels" .It took almost 20 years to accept that mankind is causing global warming with the emission of greenhouse gases. The drastic increase in the emission of CO2 caused by burning of fossile fuels has been identified as the major reason for the change of temperature in the atmosphere.
More than 80% of world wide energy demand is currently supplied by fossile fuels Coal, oil or gases. According to the recent data US the superpower emitted millions of metric tonnes of CO2 and Industry was the largest contributor ,producing approximately 3000 metric tonnes of CO2 standalone.Other than Industry transportation, residential, commercial and even agricultural emitted close 2982 metric tonnes of CO2 alltogether.
The above statistical data clearly suggest that the average temperature of atmosphere will certainly rise which intrun changes the climate. This will affect farms, forests, plants and animals in the natural environment.

"Barack Obama" in the United Nation Climate Change Conference held in Copenhagen insisted India for the slow growth of emission.Let me elobrate the details that the Country like US which is the second largest producer of GHG of close to 15.5% of global emission which is equivalent to 6,087 metric tonnes of CO2 is not finding themselves as the biggest threat of Climate change.India which is a developing nation produces only 5% of the Global emmision.Still,India agrees to limit the growth of GHG emissions. From the statement of Obama it looks to me that they are not going to comparmise with their luxary of life. The US wants India to agree to limit its carbon emissions ahead of the signing of a new UN climate treaty in Copenhagen. The data clearly suggest that India is very vulnerable to climate change. So,the developed country like US should come forward and takes the steps in reduction of GHG emissions.
India Culture looks to be more leaning towards US culture. The average people who are between the age of 20 to 65 seems to live for one and only purpose for earning as much money as possible in order to make their life more luxaries. There are very few peoples in this illusive world who has regard for nature .Its our personal decision whether we want to the cause of global warming.
Let me emphasize it again "Not the others Need to Change We must change ourselves" atleast to have few steps in stopping the disaster of global warming.
